Spring and summer only mean one thing to us at Brownstone: patio season has arrived!

We have a pretty great patio in our opinion, but we want to make it even better! We’ve added umbrellas to offer some relief on those Texas summer days and spruced up our outdoor ambiance. Come sit in our plush outdoor lounge areas to watch the game on the big screen or snag a table for you and your friends to eat and people watch in the trendy West 7th area. There’s plenty of room under the icon Brownstone sign!

We’re sprucing it up to a more fun atmosphere just for you, so come by during lunch, happy hour, dinner, or after dinner – we always have something going on! Check us out on Facebook for special events! Our hour are as following:

This Thursday, May 3rd, we are hosting the Brownstone second “Catwalk at the Stone” fashion show benefitting Hope Center for Autism. All proceeds this night will go to the non-profit to provide support for local families; the goal being to raise over $3,000.

As a business, we have a fond relationship with the Hope Center for Autism organization. We chose this organization because of their work, dedication, and presence in Fort Worth. We have built a personal and business relationship throughout the years and out goal is to maintain this relationship to benefit the organization.

The Hope Center for Autism, located in Fort Worth, provides behavioral therapy to children with autism by focusing on language skills, cognitive development, self-help and the social and play skills necessary for successful and productive lives.

“At the Hope Center for Autism our mission is to enable children on the autism spectrum and their families to live more fully functional lives.”

The Hope Center offers behavioral intervention for children who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as well as other behavioral issues. This Christ-centered facility provides services to families and children of all faiths.

Thursday May 3 from 5pm – 11pm, Brownstone Kitchen + Bar will host our second fashion show fundraising event benefiting the Hope Center for Autism! Be prepared for a night of fashion, drinks, music, silent auctions, and gift prizes!

The fashion show will feature upcoming summer trends for both men and women. Clothes will be provided by Maven, formally known as Chiffoniers, hair by Esoterica Salon & Lounge, makeup by Lisa’s Beauty Box, and airbrush spray tanning by Vanity Room. Come prepared to dance because Ilfusion Creative will be DJ’ing all night! Silent auction items and prizes will be provided by The Skin Clinic, Smart Pack Gummy Vitamins, Beehive, The Velvet Box, Fitness 2000, Neiman Marcus, Pompeii Salon, Dr. Etheridge, Brownstone Kitchen + Bar, Aurora, Wink Threading, Metropolitan DFW and more!

Miss Texas 2010, Ashley Melnick, and Esoterica’s Ale Conilla will be co-hosting the fashion show and Amy Brown, fitness model and nationally qualified bikini class winner of the 2012 Ronnie Coleman Classic, will be a special guest runway model!. You can be your own model on red carpet paparazzi photo shoot before the show begins or skip over to the bar for Happy Hour drinks and appetizers! The schedule is as follows:

5:00 p.m. – Pre-Party Happy Hour Drink & Appetizer Specials Begins
8:00 p.m. – Red Carpet Paparazzi Party Begins
9:00 p.m. – Fashion Show Begins
10:30 p.m. – Announcement of the Winners of the Silent Auction & Raffle Tickets
11:00 p.m. – Event Ends & After Party Begins

100% of the proceeds will benefit the Hope Center for Autism. Our last event in January 2012 raised $1,823.00 and this year our goal is $3,000.00 for the organization.
