What is “Mocktail”
It is is a very popular neologism in the United States. It serves to indicate something that has been present with always: non-alcoholic cocktails.
Yet the mocktails are tasty, they are friends of the liver and the driver’s license. Everything comes from a play on words: “mock” in English means “fake”.
Named on the American actress – Shirley Temple. It is the most famous of the non-alcoholic cocktails. It was invented in the 1930s at the Royal Hawaiian hotel in Waikiki. It is in honor of the child actress and dancer. It is obtained by mixing two parts of ginger ale and one part of grenadine syrup .
Non-alcoholic Bloody Mary
Tomato Succo, lemon juice, rosemary, celery, Tabasco sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce and green olives. The non-alcoholic version of the famous cocktail was born in New York in 1939 .
Spritz ginger with basil and grapefruit
It is prepared with ginger soda, grapefruit, fresh basil and basil syrup. You can prepare it at home with sugar, water and fresh basil.
